Who Touched Me?

Daily Reading—Numbers 1-2 /  Mark 6:1-29

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Why did Jesus say, “Who touched my clothes?” Even those around Him thought this was a weird question. There were crowds of people pressing on all sides. Many people were touching Him. Also, Jesus knows everything. He would have known who touched Him. In verse 32, it says He looked around to see her.

Jesus did not need to have anyone tell Him who had touched Him; He knew. So why did He ask? He asked so that she would speak to Him, and His answer to her prayer might also help those around have faith in Him. Today, many have stopped going to prayer meetings because they feel they can pray in silence, alone, and God hears them. He does, but how does His answer to your prayer help others around you?

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Might God be saying to you, Who touched Me?

There Is HOPE

FEBRUARY 26, 2026
Daily Reading—Leviticus 26-27 /  Mark 5

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

In Mark 5, we find a man who had tormented his family and townspeople to the point that they wanted nothing to do with him. They had gone so far as to tie him up and leave him in the tombs. They turned their backs on him in the hope that he might die. Yet, Jesus helped him, and he became a testimony of God’s grace.

Still today, we have those who are a menace to society. They say and do hurtful things until even those who love them want nothing to do with them. Often, society gives up hope, and they, in turn, lose hope. We must remember, with Jesus, there is HOPE! There is nothing God cannot do and no one He does not love. Who knows, they might be His greatest witness someday.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Who do you know in need of that kind of help?
Will you commit to praying daily for God’s work in their lives?

What Do We Listen To?

FEBRUARY 25, 2026
Daily Reading—Leviticus 25 /  Mark 4:21-41

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Today, we are bombarded with all kinds of things to listen to. Music, television programs, podcasts, telephones, and on and on the list goes. There is usually some sound or noise going on every day, all day long. To the point now that many people begin to feel uncomfortable if there is not some background noise going on all the time.

Jesus warned those who would listen to Him in our verse today to take heed to what they hear. That is still very good advice for today. Who and what we listen to will make a difference in what we think and how we live our lives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?:

What will you be listening to today?
Is it helping you or hurting you?

IF YOU ARE JOURNALING:

Ask yourself, what are MY THOUGHTS concerning this passage and today’s devotion?

Within this reading, do I find a CHALLENGE for my life?

What are the things I WILL DO today or this week to accept that CHALLENGE?
