JUNE 20 & 21, 2026—I Need To Know Where He Is

I Need To Know Where He Is

John 20:13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

In John 20:13 and 15, Mary is asked the same question. Once by angels in the tomb where Jesus had been, and once by Jesus Himself. “Why weepest thou?” To paraphrase her answer, it was, “I don’t know where Jesus is.” She was heartbroken because she did not know exactly where He was.

Oh, how horrible it would be even today if we did not know where our Saviour was. Many other religions have theories about the demise of their spiritual leaders. We know exactly where Jesus is. Romans 8:34 says, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” We know exactly where Jesus is today.

JUNE 19, 2026—Always Loving

Always Loving

John 19:26-27 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

On a cross of crucifixion, the agony was beyond understanding. Yet during this extreme torture and pain, Jesus looked from the cross to those He loved. He asked His mother to look to John as if He were her own son. He asked John to care for His mother as if she were his own mother. Jesus was always showing love to those whom he loved.

Even farther off in the distance, Jesus looked and saw you and me. He gave to those who will believe in Him the Holy Spirit, to lead and guide us. He provided the church to nurture and care for us. He gave us His Word to feed us. Jesus was then, and always is, thinking about us.

JUNE 18, 2026—What Is Truth?

What Is Truth?

John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Jesus just told Pilate in John 18:37, “I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” Pilate asks, “What is truth?” With all the confusion about versions of scripture, multiple denominations, and varieties in worship, many people today are asking this same question. What is the truth?

My friend, do not let the distraction of the world and religion confuse you about the real eternal truth. The truth is Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” No matter what else is said or done, Jesus must be the central part of your Salvation. Jesus is our only Salvation. It is not denominations, works of righteousness, or anything else. The Truth is Jesus.

JUNE 17, 2026—Whom Seek Ye?

Whom Seek Ye?

John 18:4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

In John 18:4, Jesus asked those who came with Judas, “Whom seek ye?” They told Him they were looking for a man from a place, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Then in verse 7, He asks again, “Whom seek Ye?” Why did He ask again? What were they looking for?

Were they seeking a criminal? These men really did not know. He was accused but was never convicted. Were they seeking a violent man? It says they brought weapons; however, they did not really know why. Were they seeking a Saviour? They found the Saviour but did not know it. Jesus wanted to know whom they sought. Today, if He asked you the same question, what would your answer be?

JUNE 16, 2026—The REAL Lord’s Prayer

The REAL Lord’s Prayer

John 17:20-21 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Many have called Matthew 6:9-13 “The Lord’s Prayer.” However, that passage is really the Lord’s model of prayer. The best Lord’s Prayer is found in John 17. It is there that we hear the words of the Lord as He prays to His Father over what has taken place and the future of those whom He will leave behind.

In John 17:20, He says, “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;” Friend, way back then, Jesus prayed for you! Are you one who believed on Christ because of God’s Word shared by the Disciples? Then Jesus prayed for you. Furthermore, He is still praying for you at the right hand of the Father.
