What Is The Will Of God

Daily Reading—Jeremiah 13-15 / 1 Timothy 5
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
1 Timothy 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
What is the will of God? This question has plagued the minds of many believers. While it is true that God’s thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), it is not true that we cannot know God’s will in many areas. One thing we know for sure is that it is God’s desire for all people to be saved. Not a few, not a select group, not one nationality or gender, but ALL.
Another part of the “will” questions is, “What is God’s will for my life?” Again, complex in some areas, yet we do know it is God’s will for us to help Him fulfill His will. His will is for people to be saved, and He gave us the tools to help. Romans 1:16 says the gospel is the power of God to save anyone who believes. However, someone must tell them.
