MARCH 3, 2026
Daily Reading—Numbers 7-8 /  Mark 8:1-21

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 7:18-19 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Why is it that many come into church, stay awhile, and then leave and go back into the world? Well, there may be many reasons, but Jesus spoke of a main one here in this passage. It just may be that we have focused on cleaning up the wrong side first.

You see, what we view on a person’s outside is not nearly as important as what God sees. Cleaning up a person’s appearance, vocabulary, habits, etc., will only go so far in life if their heart has never been changed. However, once their heart is given over to Christ, then God will make of them a new creature. And friend, He does a much better job of that than we do.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?:

Which side are you more concerned with, inside or outside?

IF YOU ARE JOURNALING:

Ask yourself, what are MY THOUGHTS concerning this passage and today’s devotion?

Within this reading, do I find a CHALLENGE for my life?

What actions will I take today or this week to meet this challenge?

Be Of Good Cheer

MARCH 2, 2026
Daily Reading—Numbers 5-6 /  Mark 7

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 6:50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Fear comes in many packages. Someone can frighten you by saying “boo” at just the right moment. A doctor could instill fear with a less-than-appreciated diagnosis. A troubled family member can send shivers down your spine. The loss of a job may cause a person alarm as they consider what is next. Fear may come in many packages, but it is still fear.

I like what Jesus said to the disciples when they were struck with fear. He said, “Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. He did not say there is no problem. He said I am here. This is still His promise today. In Hebrews 13:5, He said, “…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” We can trust Him with any fear.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?:

What fear can He help you with?
Can you hear Him say,
“Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid”?

Some Things Never Change

FEBRUARY 28 & March 1, 2026
Daily Reading—Numbers 3-4 /  Mark 6:30-56

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

When Jesus sent the disciples into the communities to preach, what was their message? Was it, “People, watch for the miracles?” No, although God granted them the ability to do many miracles to substantiate that their message was true. Was it, “Think good thoughts, live a good life, and you will be ok?” No, that has never worked. So, what was the message?

It is the same message that pastors and Christians need to preach today. They preached “that men should repent.” Sadly, today we hear a lot of “I’m ok, you’re ok” messages from the pulpits of America. Repentance is not a popular message, but it is the right one.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?:

What will you share with a lost and dying world?
What they want to hear or need to hear?

WHAT TO DO ON SUNDAY:

On Sundays, we encourage you to attend your local church and listen intently to what God has prepared in the heart of your pastor. Write down all the scriptures he uses in that message, then, when you get home, reread those passages for today’s reading. God has given your pastor exactly what He desires for you to have on that day.

FEBRUARY 27, 2026—Who Touched Me?

Who Touched Me?

FEBRUARY 27, 2026
Daily Reading—Numbers 1-2 /  Mark 6:1-29

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Why did Jesus say, “Who touched my clothes?” Even those around Him thought this was a weird question. There were crowds of people pressing on all sides. Many people were touching Him. Also, Jesus knows everything. He would have known who touched Him. In verse 32, it says He looked around to see her.

Jesus did not need to have anyone tell Him who had touched Him; He knew. So why did He ask? He asked so that she would speak to Him, and His answer to her prayer might also help those around have faith in Him. Today, many have stopped going to prayer meetings because they feel they can pray in silence, alone, and God hears them. He does, but how does His answer to your prayer help others around you?

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Might God be saying to you, Who touched Me?

There Is HOPE

FEBRUARY 26, 2026
Daily Reading—Leviticus 26-27 /  Mark 5

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

In Mark 5, we find a man who had tormented his family and townspeople to the point that they wanted nothing to do with him. They had gone so far as to tie him up and leave him in the tombs. They turned their backs on him in the hope that he might die. Yet, Jesus helped him, and he became a testimony of God’s grace.

Still today, we have those who are a menace to society. They say and do hurtful things until even those who love them want nothing to do with them. Often, society gives up hope, and they, in turn, lose hope. We must remember, with Jesus, there is HOPE! There is nothing God cannot do and no one He does not love. Who knows, they might be His greatest witness someday.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Who do you know in need of that kind of help?
Will you commit to praying daily for God’s work in their lives?
