NOVEMBER 12 & 13, 2022 – Completely Saved Forever

  Completely Saved Forever

NOVEMBER 12 & 13, 2022
Daily Reading – Jeremiah 49-50 / Hebrews 7

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

When you accepted Christ as Saviour, you received more than salvation from the sin of your past. In Hebrews 7:25 it says, Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. How can He save us to the uttermost, meaning completely saved forever?
He can because He not only laid down His life and shed His perfect sinless blood for our sin debt, rose from the tomb for our sin debt, but He also lives today and forever making intercession with God over our sin debt. Past sin is gone, but sinful man needs an attorney representing them daily at the throne of grace.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Do you think He will ever lose a case?

WHAT TO DO ON SUNDAY:

On Sundays, we encourage you to attend your local church and listen intently to what God has prepared in the heart of your Pastor. Write down all the scriptures he uses in that message, then, when you get home re-read those passages for today’s reading. God has given to your Pastor exactly what He desires for you on that day.

NOVEMBER 11, 2022 – He Just Can’t Do It!

  He Just Can’t Do It!

NOVEMBER 11, 2022
Daily Reading – Jeremiah 46-48 / Hebrews 6

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

I have heard people come up with some silly ideas concerning what God can and cannot do. I heard a man once ask, “If God can do anything, can He make a rock so big He cannot lift it?” My first thought was, if He does, I hope He creates it over your head. OK that is mean, I am sorry. However, God lives within boundaries He created for Himself. There are things God will not do because He has said He would not.
One boundary is that God cannot lie. If He ever lies, He will cease being God. Therefore, every word that comes from God is absolutely true, always. That is why Jesus said He is the way, the TRUTH, and life. His Word is forever true.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Isn’t it good in this day of uncertainty to have an absolute truth to trust in?

NOVEMBER 10, 2022 – Pass Me Some TURKEY

  Pass Me Some TURKEY

NOVEMBER 10, 2022
Daily Reading – Jeremiah 42-45 / Hebrews 4-5

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Thanksgiving is not far away. Many of us will be dinning with family and friends. The table will be filled with, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, beans, and other great foods. The centerpiece is often a huge golden-brown turkey cooked to perfection. Oh, it smells so good. Just as you are thinking of reaching for something, they place a big bottle of milk in front of you and say, “Enjoy.”
Most likely you would say, “No way, I’m a grown-up, pass me some TURKEY.” Yet in many churches today it seems most Christians who should be feeding on the meat of God’s Word are satisfied with milk instead. When they should be teaching, they are satisfied with sitting and being taught. God needs workers today.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Isn’t it time you said, “Pass Me Some MEAT?”

NOVEMBER 9, 2022 – Sin Or Unbelief?

  Sin Or Unbelief?

NOVEMBER 9, 2022
Daily Reading – Jeremiah 38-41 / Hebrews 3

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Hebrews 3:18-19 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Just what is it that keeps a person from being saved? Is it because of sin in their life? The Bible does say, “The wages of sin is death” in Roman 6:23. So then is it sin that keeps us from heaven or is it unbelief as it is stated in Hebrews 3:18-19.
The answer is really pretty simple. To choose not to believe in God, is itself the greatest of all sins. That unbelief in a Holy God will lead a person to live a life full of sinfulness because they have no regard for God or His Word. Dying without Christ is an unpardonable sin. However, if anyone will put their faith in Christ Jesus as Saviour they will be saved. We all have sinned, but Jesus paid “the wages of sin” with His death on the cross.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Will you believe in Christ today?

NOVEMBER 8, 2022 – A Life Verse

  A Life Verse

NOVEMBER 8, 2022
Daily Reading – Jeremiah 35-37 / Hebrews 1-2

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Hebrews 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

While being discipled by my Pastor, he suggested that I find in scripture what he called “A Life Verse.” A Life Verse is a passage of scripture you want to live your life by, and one to help keep you focused in life.
I read and read over the pages of the Bible trying to find the right one. Then I read Hebrews 2:12 “Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.” That is what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted God to use me to share His name with others and sing praises to Him. At the time I had no idea of being a pastor, but God has allowed me to live this verse. It guides my decisions and keeps me focused in life.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Could God use a “Life Verse” to guide your life?
