MARCH 23, 2026—The Impossible Is Possible

The Impossible Is Possible

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” When you say things like this, there are always people who ask silly questions. Like, “If God can do anything, can He make a rock so big He can’t lift it?” My answer is, “If He does, I hope He makes it over your head.”

Today’s verse does not challenge God’s powers or abilities. It says that man, WITH God, can do anything. First, you need to be WITH GOD. Next, if you were with God, you would never challenge His sovereignty to do His will. In context, humanity cannot have birth without a male and female contribution. Nor do women, after a certain age, naturally give birth. However, with God, all that might seem impossible is possible.

MARCH 21 & 22, 2026—Why Do We Need Proof?

Why Do We Need Proof?

Luke 1:20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.

Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist, was stricken dumb from the time he was told he would have a son until he was born. Was it for a sign? Well, yes, it was a sign that what the angel had said was true. But why did he need a sign? Our verse today tells us. “Because thou believest not my words.”

Jesus’ life, death, burial, and resurrection are the signs of God’s commitment to our salvation. Yet even with this clear sign of the love of God toward us, there are still many who believe not the words of God. The Bible says faith comes by hearing, not seeing.

MARCH 19, 2026—Do We Worship

Do We Worship

Mark 15:19  And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.

It does not take a lot of study to know that those who stood around Jesus the day of His crucifixion did not care anything about the fact that He was the Son of God. Mark 15:19 says they hit Him, spit on Him, and worshipped Him. I am sure no one thinks they truly worshipped Him. It was a mocking gesture at best.

As much as we may despise those who would treat our Lord in such a manner, we must consider our worship toward Him as well. To truly worship Him, our hearts must bow before Him. Every day, and in particular on our day of worship, He should be the main thought of the day.

MARCH 18, 2026—Get Your Story Straight

Get Your Story Straight

Mark 14:57-59 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. But neither so did their witness agree together.

One way law enforcement officials determine whether a group of people is telling the truth is by placing them in separate rooms and asking them about the same story. If their stories line up, there is a good chance they are telling the truth. If not, they are probably lying.

The men accusing Christ in our verses could not get their stories straight. Why? because they were lying.

The world needs to hear the truth about Jesus Christ. It is so great to have the Word of God, which never contradicts itself. All the authors, at various times and places, tell the same story in all 66 books of the Bible. Why? It is the truth.

MARCH 17, 2026—Are We Sleeping?

Are We Sleeping?

Mark 14:37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

The disciples and Jesus had gone off into a quiet place where Jesus could pray. The hour was coming soon when He would lay down His life for all of mankind. In verse 34, He told the disciples of His agony and asked them to watch. Yet they fell asleep.

We, as believers today, are also to watch. It means to be alert. Jesus knew what was coming, but the disciples did not. God knows today what is coming, but we do not. Could this be the day He might save a friend of ours? Could this be the day He sends Christ for the saints? We truly do not know. What we do know is that we are to be alert. Watching for His return.
