Not Too Confusing Really
SEPTEMBER 12 & 13, 2026
Daily Reading—Pro. 12-13 / 1 Co. 16
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
I have heard people say things like, “I do not understand the Bible,” or “I cannot figure out God’s will.” Yet the Bible says God is not the author of confusion. So, who is right, God, or those claiming they are confused? Well, we all know the answer to that one. God is always right. ALWAYS!
God never said we would not be confused. He simply stated He is not causing the confusion. So then, if we are confused, the best thing to do would be to run to the one who promised not to author confusion. If we do not understand something in His Word, maybe we need to study a bit more. If we have not found God’s will in a matter, we must search until we do.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
You do know God has an answer for everything, right?

Ask yourself, what are MY THOUGHTS concerning this passage and today’s devotion?
Within this reading, do I find a CHALLENGE for my life?
What actions will I take today or this week to meet this CHALLENGE?
WHAT TO DO ON SUNDAY:
On Sundays, we encourage you to attend your local church and listen intently to what God has prepared in your pastor’s heart. Write down all the scriptures he uses in that message.
Then, when you get home, reread those passages for today’s reading.
God has given your pastor exactly what He desires for you to have on that day.
