WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
Even today, some folks do not know what the word GOSPEL means. Some, who know the meaning, do not know what it is. So, here is a short Bible lesson.
The word GOSPEL simply means a good message or good report. Many call it the “GOOD NEWS.” So, what is this GOOD NEWS? 1 Cor. 15:3-4 tells us. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, came to this earth and died in our place for the complete payment of our sins. There had to be a perfect sacrifice, and only Jesus could be that sacrifice. Even better, He rose from the tomb three days later, just as the scripture had said He would do. Now, if we put our faith in what He did, He will cleanse and save us from our sin.
