Daily Reading—Ecc. 7-8 / Gal. 2
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
Why is it that Christians go through such horrible times? Well, what I am about to say will not fix your awful times. It may, however, give you reason to endure them.
During those days when you are doing okay, you are happy, and there is not a care in the world, it may be hard for the lost to see you as any different from most others in the world. However, when we face trials and adversities and still praise God in the midst of them, that is when God shines through. You see, the world is watching. Praising God in the good times, well, that makes sense. But praising God during trials, my friend, that is supernatural.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Your trials may not go away. Yet isn’t shining for Jesus worth it just a little bit?
