You CAN Take It With You

Daily Reading—Isa. 59-62 / 1 Thess. 5
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
Have you ever heard, “You cannot take it with you when you die”? People quote verses like 1 Timothy 6:7, which says, “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” While that is true when it comes to earthly items, there is something you can gather on earth today and have with you when you get to heaven. It’s SAVED PEOPLE!
Paul told the church in Thessalonica that those who trusted in Christ would be his crown of rejoicing. When? When he stood in the presence of Jesus at His coming. Therefore, there is something you can collect on earth to take with you to heaven. Christian family and friends, you have won to Christ.
