MAY 4, 2026—Seated On The Throne

Seated On The Throne

Luke 20:42-43 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Where is Jesus today? He is exactly where He told the Scribes, Sadducees, and Chief Priests He would be. He is seated at the right hand of God the Father.

Jesus reminds them that David had given them a hint in the book of Psalms when he said, The LORD (which is God the Father) said unto David’s Lord (which is Jesus the Christ), sit at His right hand until He brought the world into subjection. This phrase is repeated throughout the scriptures. God clearly wants us to know where Jesus is today. David made this statement a bit more personal. He calls Him “My Lord.” That is because Jesus was also seated on the throne of David’s heart. He was his personal Lord.
