You Can’t Even Imagine

Daily Reading—Isa. 15-19 / Eph. 6
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
Ephesians 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
As we read Ephesians 3:20-21, we realize that God, through Paul, was writing to churches throughout all ages and, therefore, writing to us, the church today. What is God saying to us today? He says I am close to you.
Paul points out the marvel of who God is. He is “able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.” As I read it, I hear God saying, “You cannot even imagine all of who I am or what I am able to do.” He adds, “according to the power that worketh in us.” Do you realize how close God is to us? He is in us and able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, in and through us. “Unto Him be glory in the church” is an understatement.
