What Is The Promise?

Daily Reading—Song of So. 7-8 / Eph. 1
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
Galatians 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
Paul says in this verse that we are children of the promise. But just what is that promise?
If you go back to Galatians 3:26, you read, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” In 3:29, it says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” So, what is the promise? The promise is, if we know Christ as Saviour, we are heirs together with Him. Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Now that is a promise.

What actions will I take today or this week to meet this CHALLENGE?
