Words Of Grace
JULY 27, 2026
Daily Reading—Job 21-25 / Acts 21:18-40
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
Paul, in his departure from the elders of Ephesus, says, “I am leaving you in very good hands. Actually, what he is saying is I am leaving you in GOD’S hands and with His handbook for life. He implied that not only do they have God watching over them, but also God’s words of grace to guide them.
The “word of his grace” that Paul speaks of is the same word of grace we find in our Bibles today. Grace is the unmerited favor of God. This grace is not only our foundation of eternal hope but also our way of life here on earth. This love of God will help build us up and draw us close together with other believers. Open the book of love and listen to God’s words of grace today.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Are you listening for the voice of God?
IF YOU ARE JOURNALING:
Ask yourself, what are MY THOUGHTS concerning this passage and today’s devotion?
Within this reading, do I find a CHALLENGE for my life?
What are the things I WILL DO today or this week to accept that CHALLENGE?
