Daily Reading – 2 Chronicles 30-32 / Acts 9:1-19
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
Acts 9:10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
Acts 9 tells of the wonderful account of Saul’s Damascus Road conversion to Christ. Saul, who is also the Apostle Paul, began many New Testament churches, wrote the majority of the New Testament by the leading of the Holy Spirit, and did some mighty wonderful things for God. We might get caught up in that story and miss another great man as well.
Ananias was a devote man of God. Not an apostle, Not a pastor, nor a prophet. Just a faithful man, who when called upon by God was listening and responded with, “Behold, I am here, Lord.” God doesn’t call us all to be the next great preacher or teacher. However He does expect us to be ready when He calls.
WHAT DO YOU SAY:
Would you be listening today and ready to say
“Behold, I am here, Lord” if He called you today?
